House of Royals by Keary Taylor
Publication date: June 21st 2015
Genres: Fantasy, New Adult

Every town has its history and skeletons, but Silent Bend, Mississippi’s are darker than most. Ruled from the shadows by the House—the immortal Born and their aging, enslaved Bitten—everyone knows not to go out after dark and that the police will never look into crimes involving blood.
Alivia Ryan didn’t know the man who claims to be her father through a will even existed until she inherits the Conrath plantation. Instead of the sleepy house she expects, she finds a mansion and a staff who look at her with fear in their eyes.
Ian Ward tried to kill Alivia the first time they meet, and then insisted he train her to defend herself against the House, who he claims will try to manipulate and take her in for their own political reasons. And the growing attraction between them will threaten their lives—Ian is a sworn enemy of the House.
In Silent Bend, people disappear, the threat of a demented King and the legend of his resurrecting Queen hang over everyone’s heads, and proving loyalty means far more than blood. You’d better watch who you trust in this town…

True Calling ( True Calling # 1 )
By Siobhan Davis

Book Beginnings On Friday

" I wake with a start; I can feel the blood pumping ferociously through my veins and hear ringing in my ears. My heart is pounding so loudly that I'm sure it will wake Mom, Dad, Lily and Deacon. Taking deep breaths, I slowly inhale and exhale, in an attempt to calm my beating heart. " ( Chapter 1 )

The Friday 56

" Zolt expression is outwardly pleasent so no one watching us would notice anything untoward, but there's no mistaking the sinister tone in his voice, and I'm left in no doubt of his meaning. My body reacts in instant panic, and a cold sweat forms on my skin. " ( pg 56 )

Perfect Ten

Author: Michelle Craig

Published Date: August 28, 2014

Here are my quotes for this week:

" I could swear my heart beat double time. It was weird. Something went through me that I can't explain. It was a shiver. Well not a shiver exactly - more like a shockwave. All I knew for sure was that I wanted her. I felt like wrapping my arms around her and taking her home with me. Pretty intense, huh? Yeah, tell me about it."

" And that is how I wound up walking into Perfect Ten and laying my eyes on the most exquisite, breathtaking dazzling specimen of man that ever existed. Trust me when I tell you, there is nothing better to look at in the entire universe than Joe Starling. Unless it's Joe Starling smiling. "

What do you think? Did the quotes catch your attention to continue to read? What are your Thursday Quotables for this week?

Perfect Ten

Author: Michelle Craig

Genre: Adult Romance, Erotica

Published: August 28, 2014

Format: Paperback

Rating: 4/5

Joseph Starling Jr. was in the right place at the right time. It didn’t take him long to discover his particular talent. He knew how to make a woman feel good. If she wasn’t screaming out his name, purring like a kitten or clawing at him like a lioness, he had failed. Mediocre was not a word in his vocabulary. Her enjoyment was so important to him that his own pleasure was a secondary concern.

Faith Graham was nothing like the women he was required to date as an escort—it was what he liked about her from the first time he saw her. She was imperfect and insecure. Her hair was a bit on the wild side, and her clothes were slightly rumpled. But her curves! They were alluring. She had curves where most of the elite clientele he mingled with had straight lines, and not an ounce of softness to be found. Shocking him to his core, she didn’t want anything to do with him.

Joe had always thought that working as an escort for Perfect Ten was a dream come true, but he was beginning to wonder if there was more to life than raking in the cash and having his pick of women on any given night. Could he start over with a new direction in life, or was he already at the age of twenty-six too jaded? Was there more out there for Joe Starling or was he destined to be a boy toy at the whim of any woman rich enough to afford him?

My Thoughts

Holy Crap just wow I remember hearing first about this awesome book by Nikki Worrell on her page. I saw her teasers and learn that it is a book about a top ten escort and that he fall in love with a very beautiful curvaceous big girl. And after hearing about that I had to get my hands on it and lucky for me I met Nikki at a book signing back in Sept. I went straight for her desk and grab Perfect Ten. And Oh Boy Oh Boy Perfect Ten was full of passion, love and hot yummy scenes. I just loved everything about it I loved the plot, the writing style and most of all the charecters especially the main charecters Joe and Faith. Joeseph Starling Jr. is the number 1 top escort at Perfect Ten he made sure every woman he escort felt sexual pleasure he know how to make a women feel good in every way. the women's enjoyment was really important to him that his own pleasure was a secondary to him. Joe always thought working at Perfect Ten was a dream come true. He enjoyed escorting different beautiful females and make them feel sexual pleasure because he love sex and was a complete beast in bed, but that is until he met Faith Graham for his next date. Joe felt a deep pang in his heart when he first lays eyes on Faith. Faith red hair was a bit on the wild side, and her clothes were slightly rampled. But she was the most beautiful curvaceous woman he has every met and her curves was really alluring to him. Joe never escorted a women like Faith before, she was really insecure and imperfect woman and Joe really liked that about her when he first saw Faith. Faith Graham was a really shy, smart and very beatiful big women even though she does not see it like that because of how her terrible mother and sisters treat her because of her weight. Faith also had really low esteem because of that but she got help and the love and support of her friends and amazing father she got a little better. But she always thought that she will never find love because of her weight and how she looks like. Until her friends set her up for a date with an escort at Perfect Ten so she can have a date at her sister wedding. But when Faith first saw Joe she was so not going too accept him to escort her to her sister wedding because he was too perfect for her. She thought that nobody was going to believe her that a drop dead gorgeous men like Joe would ever consider to date a big woman like her. But Joe was so not going too let Faith changed him for a different escort he really wanted this date with Faith so he can learn more about her. But Faith would have none of it until she talk to her friend who convince her that Joe was a perfect pick for her so Faith shyly agreed for Joe to escort her too her sister wedding. And Oh My did they ever had a hot sexy steamy date it was really hot, until the next morning when Faith was in tears after what she did with Joe and she asked him to leave but Joe really didn't want to leave her he really wanted to stay there with her. But Faith scream at him to go that she can't believe that a escort really wants a relationship with a woman like her so with a heavy heart Joe left her alone. Than after that encounter with Faith Joe started to wonder if there was more to life than raking in cash and having his pick of women on any given night or was there more out there for him and was he destined to be in Faith life or was he too Jaded. But Joe was determined to be with Faith and he was so not going to give up on her that easily because she thought she was not worthy of him. He was determined to changed her mind about that and he was going to changed his life for the better for himself and for Faith. And this is where I am going to leave it off at I really loved loved and enjoyed Perfect Ten that I will most difinately continue on reading more books by Nikki Worrell. Well until next time my friends.

About Author Michelle Craig

Michelle Craig is a pen names for Nikki Worrell. I am a country girl at heart who tends to like the simple things...and hockey. Give me a hockey game and I'm set! During intermission, I read. Reading has always been a love of mine since I was a little girl. The books have gotten a bit spicier though. I also like moonlit walks on the beach, strawberries and champagne (ok, dirty martinis actually), and a strong man to hold me...etc., etc., etc. ;)

I live in Hammonton, NJ with my husband of over 18 years. It's not always easy but it's always worth it.

I have a B.S.B.A. in Human Resources and work for a law firm in Philadelphia. The only thing left to say is....GO FLYERS!

Cover Reveal: Forever Down Under by S.M. Phillips

Saturday, March 21, 2015

In the last few months, Jess has been faced with more obstacles than she ever thought possible. Heartbreak, loss and betrayal to name just a few. Will her drama fuelled life finally settle into the happy, care free one that she deserves or is someone hiding and waiting for the perfect opportunity to ruin it all?       Life for Max hasn't exactly been plain sailing either. Now that he finally has someone in his life that means more to him than anything he has ever known, one thing is for certain, he's not going to let anyone get in the way of his new found happiness, no matter what the cost.
Demons are released, pasts are exposed and their future together is only what they make of it.

"I've got a few errands to run Angel, but I promise that I'll make it up to you later."

"You bet you will, Mister. How long will you be gone for anyway?" I ask, already missing him.

"I'll only be a few hours, tops. Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to go and see your mum? We could go tomorrow, or even later this afternoon?"

I'm hesitant for a moment before I gain enough strength to reply. "I'm not sure, Max." Uncertainty is evident in my tone, even though I'm trying my best to hide it. My chest feels heavy at the mere mention of my mum. I'd love nothing more than to go and see her, to wrap her in my arms and tell her that everything will be okay. I'd love to see that she's getting better, to let her know that even after everything that I'm still here for her, but I can't. She won't take my calls and down right refuses any visitors.

My only comfort right now is knowing that she's in the best place and receiving the best possible care, and it's all thanks to this devilishly kind and handsome man stood beside me. I'd refused any kind of offer from him previously, because the way I see it, she's my mum and I should be the one to make sure she has everything that she needs. I guess her stubborn gene runs prominently in my veins. I remember clearly in my mind the way Max looked at me, held me close and said, "Angel, please. Please allow me to do this one thing for you. Let me get her what she needs. I don't have a mum to look after anymore, Jess. I guess I never really have. All I ask is that you let me help you. I want to help you."

As much as my stubbornness and pride screamed out for me to say no, and as much as I wanted to say no, I couldn't do it. I suddenly found myself unable to say no to him and the pure, raw sadness that swam in his eyes had me aching for him, aching for his past and the demons that still currently haunt him to this day.
"Okay," I whispered. It was all I could manage, but for Max, it was enough. I just hope that one day I'll be able to tell him just how grateful I am.

Welcome to the crazy and hectic life that is me: A fun, loving mum of one special little boy, girlfriend (I'm sure it should be wife by now!!) and an overall crazy, happy go lucky girl from England.

I have always had a passion for reading and writing. Wherever I am, my eBook reader is never far behind, along with a mug of coffee.

I found myself wanting to write from a young age. I have quite a few hidden stories on my computer somewhere. Maybe I will have to dig them out and play around with them at some point.

"Fuck." I slam my fist into the desk before me and feel nothing but rage. I need to go after her. I need to explain. "But isn't this what you wanted?" The voice inside my head whispers. "Isn't this a nice easy way out?"

Everything Max has done has always been at a cost to others around him. He wasn't about to make that mistake again. No longer will his selfish ways punish those close to him. Sometimes it's better to have had and lost than to never have had at all.

Finally after what felt like forever, Jess was getting a glimpse of control over her life again and allowed her defences to come crashing down, only to have what it guarded to be crushed once again. Now, on the other side of the world away from her friends, she doesn't know what to do.

Should she stay or should she go?

Is it too late or have they both fallen too far into something that is completely out of their depths?

For Jess Townsend, life is about to get complicated.

Following on from her split with Josh two months ago, Jess has thrown herself into her work full throttle, making sure that the one good thing in her life remains the same.

Suddenly she is called into an important meeting at work. Absolutely petrified that she is about to lose her job, she does the only thing she knows how. Panic on the inside and walk through it with her head held high on the outside.

Jess soon discovers she is being offered a once in a lifetime opportunity, but will she take it?

After dealing with an ex who can't let go and a broody mysterious Adonis who won't accept no for an answer, maybe the opportunity of an escape has arrived at the perfect time.

What does fate have in store and what obstacles will be thrown her way?

Obsession knows no bounds...

Anna Jameson can't wait to escape the hellhole that her cousin has left her in. Desperate to escape her past, the idea of moving to stay with Holly whilst she got her head together sounded like the perfect plan... Until Holly upped and left, leaving Anna to pick up the mess that she left behind.

Jensen Blake knows what he wants and will not be told otherwise. Obedience and control are what he knows best. With demons of his own, he has spent most of his adult life traveling from place to place the moment things started to become predictable.

When Jensen and Anna are pushed together, an instant dislike simmers between them. Anna hates bad boys. She has witnessed enough of them to last her a lifetime.

The sexual attraction between them is evident but will that only make things harder for them both to handle?
