Tuesday, June 5, 2018

Hello, lovelies welcome to a feature I am going to have on La Jersey Chika Reads Indie Books that is called Indie Author Spotlight. Each month I will post an Indie Author Spotlight to help spread the word about the works of the fantastic indie authors that are out there!

Today Thirty-Seventh installment and feature Duane Simolke of Taldra: Science Fiction Adventures (Taldra)

Duane Simolke wrote The Acorn Stories, Degranon: A Science Fiction Adventure, Sons of Taldra: A Science Fiction Adventure, and Holding Me Together. He also edited and co-wrote the spin-off The Acorn Gathering, donating that book’s royalties to the American Cancer Society. Simolke was born in New Orleans on May 28, 1965, and now lives in Lubbock, Texas. He is a lifelong fan of science fiction and fantasy. His books reflect the diversity he sees in the real world.

In an alternate reality, Earth is Valchondria. The one-world government consists of Leader, the Supreme Science Council, and a police forced called “the Maintainers.”

Degranon: A Science Fiction Adventure introduces the Iroquois scientist Taldra. One of her sons becomes trapped on the other side of a time portal while the other loses himself to the religious cult Degranon. Can they find their way back to each other before the Degrans destroy Valchondria?

In Sons of Taldra: A Science Fiction Adventure, alien shapeshifters and the secrets of the Maintainers threaten humanity. First published in 2016 as an eBook, Sons of Taldra now appears in this paperback with the revised, third edition of Degranon.

“Edge-of-your-seat action, scenes that detail the turmoil and terror of an alien attack and an inside look at love and acceptance for humanity’s differences.” —Tome Tender

Thanks, Katiria! I switched to my newest release. The paperback edition just came out, but it's been out in eBook format for a year. Please use this spotlight when you can. I understand that the date I posted might be taken already. I'll help spread the word about the blog post.
