Chase Hansen. Broke. College drop out. Male stripper. My life wasn't at all what I imagined it would be. I should have been finishing up college, interning with a well-respected business, partying with my friends. But instead, I was raising my seventeen-year-old brother, struggling to make ends meet. Love wasn't even on my radar. Besides, what did I have to offer? A few crumpled singles pulled from my G-string? Defeated and exhausted, I knew I had zero chance of finding someone to love me just as I am. Noah Carpenter. Angry. Betrayed. Doctor. Just when I thought my life was going exactly as it should, everything turned upside down. With my final rotation in medical school complete, I finally achieved my lifelong dream of becoming a doctor. What I never expected was to catch the man of my dreams in our bed with the man of his. Beyond infuriated, I struggled to piece together the remnants of my life. Just when I'd decided to give up on love altogether, I found a man who loved me just as I am.

Oh, how I miss reading m/m books when I heard that Melissa Collins was coming out with another m/m book I jump at the chance to check it out because I absolutely love and adore her m/m books. And As I Am did not disappoint me at all I absolutely love and enjoyed this book so much I just couldn't get enough of it. Now I know this book is not for every reader and that is totally okay but I will say if you had read any books by Melissa Collins before especially her m/m books than you are going to love this book if you haven't then this book is not for you. The plotline and concept of As I Am are very intriguing and worked perfectly I didn't think it would work out well but it actually worked perfectly great in this amazing book. I really love each character yes I even really like the bad guys as well I thought they were all written and done fantastically great. The writing style flows well and was very engaging too. I just couldn't put this book down I kept on thinking about this book every day because I just needed to read one more chapter late at night to see how everything turned out for each character especially for the main characters Chase and Noah! I really love the friendship that Chase and his best friend Gavin had they always had each other backs no matter what, even though Gavin had to sacrifice some things in order to help his best friend Chase out in his life. And I truly love Gavin for that and the sacrifices he made for Chase that is a true friendship there. The ending was a perfect and heartwarming HEA that I had a huge smile reading that ending it was just a pure perfect and amazing ending to a fantastic book that I thoroughly loved and enjoyed so much! I can't wait to read more books by Melissa Collins especially if she writes more m/m books in the near future.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Melissa Collins has always been a bookworm. Studying Literature in college ensured that her nose was always stuck in a book. She followed her passion for reading to the most logical career choice: English teacher. Her hope was to share her passion for reading and the escapism of books to her students. Having spent more than a decade in front of a classroom, she can easily say that it’s been a dream. Her passion for writing didn’t start until more recently. When she was home on maternity leave in early 2012, she read her first romance novel and her head filled with the passion, angst, and laughter of the characters who she read about it. It wasn’t long before characters of her own took shape in her mind. Their lives took over Melissa’s brain and The Love Series was born.
