Hello, lovelies welcome to a feature I am going to have on La Jersey Chika Reads Indie Books that is called Indie Author Spotlight. Each month I will post an Indie Author Spotlight to help spread the word about the works of the fantastic indie authors that are out there!

n the far future, when interstellar travel and trade with alien races is commonplace, will they still tell ghost stories? In Tales from the Rift, Colson Metter, a human trader and seven aliens are led by a shape-shifting bartender in a contest relating tales of the supernatural for the prize of prizes. As each contestant tells stories set in their own alien societies,, Metter hunts for a way to cheat the competition. For to him, this is more than a contest: losing could mean his life!

  2. "when interstellar travel and trade with alien races is commonplace, will they still tell ghost stories?" That made me laugh. I totally imagined a group of people roasting marshmallows around the spaceship engine and sharing scary tales.

  5. I have not read a book from this genre since 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy'. Maybe I will give it a try.
