My Thoughts

I received this book by the author in exchanged for an honest review. Thank You Tanya Holmes

Now where do I start too gush about how much I absolutely loved and enjoyed reading The Darkest Frost. That I can't put into words how amazingly brilliant this book was for me. I've been following Tanya first in Tsu and than on Facebook and Twitter while she was writing The Darkest Frost. She is really a fantastic and wonderful person and I heard that she really is an awesome author as well. So I jumped at a chance to read her novel and I don't ever regret that decision I made to read her book.Because The Darkest Frost is a very unique and really different adult paranormal romance that I have every read with a little mystery and twist in between. The plot and the world building was so fresh too me that I loved every second and every minute reading this fantastic plot and world. That I could not put this book down in fact I think I read it in two days. Yes this book was that amazing to me. I totally fell in love with all the characters that there are unforgettable to forget there are still so fresh in my mind. Now before you ask me which team I am on I plea the fifth. Because I absolutely loved both Braeden and Xavier Frost I think there are both perfect match for Denieve. But both of the Frost brothers are keeping and hiding a dark secret from Denieve for her own good and for her own well being as well. But Denieve is hiding her very own secrets as well. Denieve is so tired of all the lies and the secrets that the Frost brothers are hiding from her. She is also totally confused about her true emotions to each brother she knows she fell in love with one brother and she thought she despises the other brother. But everything changes when something big happens that made her change her prospective about the other brother she despises of. And this is where I am going to leave it off at. I don't want to go into to much details about this amazing book without spoiling it for anybody. But I do highly recommend to all my friends and fellow book readers to give The Darkest Frost a chance it really is a Brilliant and Fantastic Book. Now I can't wait to read part 2 of the Darkest Frost because of that ending that end was a huge cliffhanger that I need to get and read the second part of The Darkest Frost as soon as it comes out! Until Next Time My Friends!

Frost set the book aside with casual grace, then prowled toward me, his gloved hands clasped at his back. The quiet thud of his footsteps matched the pensive rhythm of the ticking clock, amping my fear. Despite his cool demeanor, I was sure the man had his temper on a short tether. That’s why I didn’t look above his neck for fear of seeing that anger twisting his face, or worse, blazing in his eyes. Silky chest hair peeked from beneath his T-shirt. And he seemed dark and dangerous in those faded jeans. The soft denim hugged his muscular thighs while loosely cupping the masculine bulge between them, the bulge my body was all too familiar with. Down low, my sex clenched in remembrance as he made his approach. “Now that you mention it,” he mused in the gentlest of tones, “needles are a tad frightening.” He dipped his head, forcing me to look at him. “Tongue depressors are even worse, but you should be especially wary of thermometers. One can never be quite sure where they’ve been.” “Really, Dr. Frost. Ever since….” My gaze followed him until he disappeared behind me. “Go on,” came the soft voice at my back. I swallowed. “E-ever since I was a child I’ve been afraid of thermometers—I mean needles!” Frost reappeared on my right side. One of his brows rose a fraction. “You know, if you’re going to lie to my face, at least do it better. On second thought, just leave. I have no patience for nonsense today.” “But I’m not lying.” Yeah, I was. He slammed to a stop in front of me, his expression a complexity of shadows. “You must believe I’m a fool.” “I don’t.” “Yes, you do.” “No, really, I.…” “Enough. How about some brutal honesty?” Now his tone was menacing and sharp. “You think I couldn’t read your face? That I wouldn’t recognize mistrust and contempt? Or fear? Especially in someone I’ve—” He inhaled sharply through his nose and looked away. “Someone like you,” he finished, returning his gaze to mine.
