My Thoughts

I was given this arc by the author for exchanged for an honest review. Thank you so much Jasinda Wilder

Ok ok wow where to start I can not even form words for how amazing Djinn and Tonic was for me. In fact I will say that Djinn and Tonic by far is my favorite book from The Houri Lengends Series. It was full of action, raw power and sexy passion from start to finished. I loved everything about it I love the plot, world building and all the charecters I even really liked the ones I so despised. Djinn and Tonic is Carson and Leila book where they were introduce in the first book Djinn and Jack. I am really glad and happy they got there own book because I really loved dective Carson and the mysterious bartender Leila. I know Leila had secrets and I really wanted to find out what were her deep secrets about. And ohh boy we do find out what are her deep secrets in Djinn and Tonic but I won't go into too much detailed about Djinn and Tonic. But I will say that it started off with Carson at his favorite bar drinking and in thought and trying to make sense of what he saw at the prescient with Miriam that left him totally confused and in a major funk. He stay in his funk until closing time at the bar and Leila notice and started to talk and flirt with Carson to see if he looses himself up and talk to her about his problem. Carson really does not what to talk to Leila about the case because he does not want Leila to think that he is crazy for what he saw at the prescient, but he eventually told Leila the whole truth and it lefted a whole weight off his shoulder. Leila listen and did not judge or act like Carson was crazy she totally accepted for what he was saying. Than after the serious talk about the case things started to get heated between Leila and Carson. That Carson asked Leila out and they both shared a hot sexy kiss but while Carson was kissing Leila he felt like something was crushing his whole body and he heard Leila let out a scream than everything went dark for him. Carson wakes up at the hospital battered and bruised and he finds out what happen to the bar and he also finds out that Leila was mysteriously uninjured during the attack. Carson instincts is on full alert when he asked Leila what happen that knight but Leila try's to lie but Carson know she is lying but he won't push it with her. Because he really is attracted to her and he feels a connection with her. But Carson will find out soon enough what really happen at the bar and what Leila secrets really are and that he will play a bigger role in her life. And that's where I am going to leave it off at. I really loved and enjoyed Djinn and Tonic that I can't wait to read Nadira book next Djinn and Juice I just loved her she is super bad ass. Well until next time my friends.
